Code of Conduct
1. Dual-Logging & Household Regulations
One Player, One Account: Aldhran is a strictly single-account environment. Running multiple instances of the game or logging into multiple accounts simultaneously (dual-logging) is prohibited.
Household Registration: If more than one person plays from the same household or IP address (e.g., family, partners, roommates), this must be registered and approved by the staff in advance. Unregistered IP overlaps are treated as a violation.
Verification: GMs reserve the right to perform live "compliance checks" to ensure that characters on the same IP are indeed controlled by separate individuals.
Sanctions: Unregistered household overlaps result in a formal warning and a minimum of 1 day in Jail, depending on the judgment of Realm or Federal GMs.
2. Cheating, Software Manipulation & Exploits
Zero Tolerance: Any use of third-party software to gain an advantage—including Radars, Speedhacks, Botting, or scripts—results in immediate account suspension.
Bugs & Exploits: Intentionally exploiting game bugs (e.g., attacking through walls, world-geometry glitches, "safe-spotting") is forbidden.
Due Process: The account will be flagged for deletion and Jailed during the investigation. The case is automatically forwarded to the Justiciars for evidence review.
Objection Period: Players have a 3-day window to file an objection. If no objection is filed or if it is rejected, the account is permanently deleted.
Second Chance: After a first deletion, a player may start over. A second major violation results in a permanent hardware/IP ban.
3. Conduct, Etiquette & Sportsmanship
Respectful Environment: Hate speech, discrimination (racism, sexism, homophobia), and extreme harassment are strictly prohibited.
Unsporting Behavior: The use of toxic or excessive emotes (e.g., /spit, /fart) on a fallen opponent's body is forbidden.
Naming Policy: Names must remain immersive. Prohibited: insults, leet-speak, blatant pop-culture references, or nonsensical character strings.
The 5-Step Sanction Scale (Specific to Conduct & Naming):
- Level 1: Formal Warning
- Level 2: Warning + 1–3 Hour Ban
- Level 3: 1 Week Jail
- Level 4: 1 Month Jail
- Level 5: Account Deletion
4. Account Limitations & Realm Switching
Single Account Ownership: Each player is entitled to only one account.
Realmswitch Timer: The mandatory 2-day cooldown for switching realms must be respected. Bypassing this timer using secondary accounts is a severe breach of integrity.
Bypassing Sanctions: 1. Deletion of the secondary account + 1-day ban on the primary account. 2. Deletion of all associated accounts. 3. Permanent ban (subject to Justiciar review).
5. RvR Integrity & Fairplay
Anti-Espionage: Sharing tactical information with enemy realms (cross-realming) or cooperating with the enemy to harm your own realm is prohibited.
RP-Farming: Arranged kills to farm Realm Points or Bounty Points is considered an exploit of the progression system.
Terrain Integrity: Using glitches to bypass keep walls or reach unintended areas is forbidden and must be reported immediately.
Automatic Review: Any sanction exceeding 3 days or a deduction of more than 10% of RPs/BPs is automatically submitted to the Justiciars. Players have 3 days to object.
6. Economy, RMT & Market Integrity
Theft: Misappropriation of property is prohibited. Restitution of items often leads to a waiver of sanctions; regardless, the items will be restored to the victim by the administration
Real Money Trading (RMT): Buying or selling gold, items, or accounts for real currency is strictly forbidden. All involved characters will be Jailed and flagged for deletion (3-day objection window applies).
Market Scams: While extreme pricing is a matter of "Caveat Emptor" (Buyer Beware), systemic fraud or scams involving third-party software will be prosecuted by Inspectors.
7. Staff Authority & In-Game Compliance
Directives: Instructions given by the Staff must be followed immediately to maintain game flow.
Dispute Resolution: In-game arguments with staff members in public channels are prohibited. Disputes must be handled through the official hierarchy.
8. Language & Communication Channels
Official Language: English is the mandatory language for all public channels (/trade, /lfg, /asay) and for all communication with the staff.
Channel Discipline: Channels must be used for their designated purpose.
Harassment: Bypassing a player's /ignore by logging onto another character is a punishable offense.
Sanction Chain (Communication): Warning -> Warning -> 1-day Mute -> 3-day Jail -> Character Deletion.
